My first day in Honiara

After 33 hours of travel, I’ve finally arrived in the Solomon Islands!

Lionel, a representative of the Anglican Church of Melanesia education division, welcomed me at the airport and dropped me off at St. Agnes Transit House where I’ll be staying for the next 4 nights.

I payed a short visit to some of the numerous Chinese shops in town. A bit overwhelmed by the offer, I just got the essentials: water and some biscuits. I will explore the vast central market tomorrow. Right now, I just need sleep.
